Red Bull Half Court

Red Bull Half Court is bringing the energy of global streetball back to South Africa, with the fast-paced 3-on-3 basketball tournament culminating in the South African National Final in Johannesburg on 22 August 2026. It’s more than basketball; the event brings together sport, street culture, music, style and community as some of the country’s best ballers compete for the opportunity to represent South Africa at the Red Bull Half Court World Final in Manila, Philippines, on 5 December 2026. To bring Yires closer to the action, we are giving Yires a chance to win tickets to the RedBull Half Court in Soweto, Johannesburg on 22 August 2026. To enter, simply head to Y’s social media competition post and tell us where the 2026 Red Bull Half Court World Final is taking place. Correct entries will go into the draw and be randomly selected by Y’s competition team for a chance to experience the action, energy and culture of Red Bull Half Court – live.

Below are the standard terms and conditions applicable to the RedBull Half Court on-air and digital promotion in association with YFM.

1. The RedBull Half Court competition runs on YFM 18 August to 21 August 2026.
2. Promos will flight on air for the duration of the campaign period and will encourage listeners to comment on Y’s social media competition post. Entrants need to answer the question by telling us where the RedBull Half Court World Final is taking place.
3. No person may enter the same or any other competition hosted partly or in whole by YFM within 90 days of winning the same or any other competition hosted partly or in whole by YFM.
4. The station’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
5. No director of Yired (Pty) Ltd, employee at YFM and/or their agencies, and members of their immediate family; nor members of RedBull may enter this competition on YFM.
6. Prizes are not transferable and are not negotiable.
7. Any violation or attempt to violate any of the above rules will result in the immediate disqualification of the transgressor.
8. Entrants below the age of 18 (eighteen) should obtain their parents’ or guardian’s consent before entering the competition.
9. By participating in any competition hosted partly or in whole by YFM, where entry is on-line, participants further agree to be bound by our Terms & Conditions which are available on the YFM website
10. YFM will ensure that they obtain the winner’s consent in order to give RedBull the winner’s personal information.
11. RedBull and YFM is not liable for any loss or damages that may occur as a result of entering or participating in the competition.
