US President, Donald Trump, says he is relieved that, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, have reportedly returned to the United Kingdom after six years in America.

Speaking from the Oval Office on Wednesday, Trump once again took aim at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, accusing them of disrespecting the Royal Family.

“I was never a fan,” Trump said.

The couple stepped back from their roles as senior working royals in 2020 and relocated to the United States in August.

This followed explosive allegations by Meghan about her experience within the Royal Family, including claims that concerns were raised about how dark the complexion of their unborn might be.

The allegations sent shockwaves around the world and deepened tensions between the Sussexes and the Royal Family.

Trump says the accusations amounted to disrespect towards the monarchy and that he would not have allowed the couple to return to the UK if he were King Charles III.

Meanwhile, tensions between the Ubited States and Iran have intensified following a fresh wave of attacks that has reportedly left at least 18 people dead and more than 100 others injured.

Four people were reportedly killed and 67 injured in an attack on a wedding near the coast of the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran has reportedly launched missiles and drones towards what it says are US assets in Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait and Iraq. Kuwaiti forces say their air defence systems intercepted further missile and drone attacks.

Iran has also warned oil tankers attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz without Tehran’s approval.

Despite the escalating tensions, Trump insists Washington remains firmly in control of the strategic waterway.

The conflict has raised fresh concerns over global oil supplies, with fears that further attacks could send shockwaves through energy markets.
