Minister in the Presidency, Khumbudzo Ntshavheni, has criticised King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo for what she describes as the spread of misinformation.
Ntshavheni says the King is incorrect to suggest that South Africa requires a referendum to determine its foreign policy stance, noting that the country has never used referendums for such decisions.
She further linked his comments to narratives originating in the United States and organisations such as AfriForum.
King Dalindyebo as come under fire for his pro-Israel remarks and for attacking the government’s position on the Israel–Gaza conflict.
He has accused the state of misleading the public and of supporting the Palestinian cause without first conducting an independent fact-finding mission.

Some South Africans have criticised the King for adopting positions that openly contradict the government’s stance.
King Dalindyebo is a clear explanation as to how our native leaders sold us out, and continue to pander to all interests except African ones. Sympathizers, askaris, informers and sellouts aplenty at the top. I think it’s how it’s done, nje.

correction: he is a chief of abaThembu people (a handful of a tribe within the Xhosa people of South Africa).
2005, Dalindyebo was indicted for fraud, murder, attempted murder, kidnapping and arson and was subsequently convicted – sounds like Zionism right? Right, poster boy. https://t.co/OUb8Yf8QtU
