Supporters of popular American talk show host Wendy Williams are calling for justice after reports revealed that a neurologist has cleared her of frontotemporal dementia.
The 61-year-old TV icon was diagnosed with the condition in 2023, a ruling that removed her of control over her finances, health, and communications. Williams has consistently maintained that she was misdiagnosed.
Fans have flooded social media with demanding accountability, insisting that those responsible for what they describe as a “camouflage” of her true condition be held responsible.

I think Wendy Williams is an example of, “I may not like you, but I’ll be damned if any harm comes to you”
This woman has been dragged for her opinions for years now, and the moment she was maliciously messed with, same people stood 10 toes down about her.

This is nightmarish. Wendy Williams has had years of her life stolen because of a lie! She does not have frontotemporal dementia. She’s been locked up against her will! This needs to be big news! https://t.co/0LBJ9wBQid

Williams’ legal team says it plans to approach the courts to end her guardianship, which has been in place for more than three years.
The new medical findings directly contradict last year’s report, which claimed she had tested positive for the illness. Experts note that frontotemporal dementia does not improve, making Williams’ strong recovery and coherent public appearances even more significant.
Earlier this year, the TV host’s fans expressed concern after she told the hosts of The Breakfast Club that her court-ordered guardianship made her feel like she was “in prison.”
