Family and friends of a popular Thembisa tattoo artist, Katlego Thoka-Moholola, and Steven Makamo, also known as Rolly, are calling for justice for the two friends.
The two were allegedly stoned to death last week in the township’s Winne Mandela Informal Settlement.
According to the tattoo artist’s mother, Brendalin Thoka, the duo was brutally killed by a man believed to be  Makamo’s girlfriend’s ex-lover.
Moholola’s family has expressed heartbreak and regret that his death has been shrouded by false allegations that the young men were stoned to death because they had stolen from a local tuck-shop.
The 26-year-old’s mother detailed the events that led to her son’s demise to YNews.

Former Big Brother Mzansi star, Themba Mabaso, says he’s struggling to terms with his friend’s brutal death.

Mabaso says he’s shattered by Moholola’s death as he was more than just a friend to him.

They were also business partners.

The young rapper and tattoo artist says he wants the police to prioritise his friend’s case so that his family and friends can get justice.
He’s also appealed for those who knew the 26-year-old to keep sharing #Justice4Katlego in a bid to pressure the authorities into working relentlessly to nail the culprit.
The Big Brother star also took to social media, appealing to South Africans to refrain from taking the law into their own hands.
The memorial services for the young men will be held separately this week.
Some South Africans are also demanding justice for the two young men whose lives were needlessly cut shot.
