Diddy’s moment of truth edges closer

It’s all systems go for disgraced music mogul, Sean Combs’ trial, which the jury selection set to begin on Monday.

Diddy’s much anticipated trial will get underway the following week.

While no time frame for it has been set yet, reports suggest that it might take several weeks – if not months.

Yesterday, Combs rejected a last minute plea deal in his pretrial hearing in New York.

The specific terms of the deal have not been made public.

The 55-year-old has been incarcerated at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center following his arrest in September last year in New York.

Diddy has pleaded not guilty to several charges, including racketeering, sex trafficking by force, fraud and transportation to engage in prostitution.

The Bad Boy founder is facing possible life in prison.

Last month, it was revealed that his ex-lover singer and dancer, Cassie Ventura, will takes the stand.

So far the 37-year-old is the only one from his alleged victims, who has not requested that her identity be protected when testifying.

Cassie, who’s accused Diddy of what she’s dubbed as a decade-long cycle of sexual assault, was the first victim to make public allegations against the 55 -year-old in 2023.

A leaked video from a chilling 2016 incident sent shockwaves through the public, showing Diddy aggressively chasing Ventura down a hotel corridor, desperately trying to prevent her from leaving.

Social media users have expressed anticipation for the trial.
