Kaizer Chiefs head coach, Nasreddine Nabi, has attributed his side’s heavy 4-1 defeat to SuperSport United last night to fatigue.

Amakhosi came into match high on confidence after going unbeaten in three matches across all competitions but were humbled by Matsatsantsa, who ran out convincing 4-1 victors courtesy of from former Chiefs forwards Samir Nurkovic and Christian Saile as well as Ghampani Lungu and Siphesihle Ndlovu.

Glody Lilepo scored the only goal for the hosts to take his tally to three goals in four outings.
The Tunisian mentor is of the view that his side played a good game despite the heavy scoreline but maintained they did not have plenty of time to recover from their last match.
“It was a very difficult game and very painful loss,” he added. “It was a game that we miss. Obviously, I’m not gonna give excuses but there are excuses because obviously we only had two days for the players to recover and they played an exceptional match, but unfortunately, as I said, we can’t give excuses but there are excuses,” said Nabi.

“When the body or the physical is not responding, then everything falls apart like a castle of cards. And yes we have conceived on the fourth minute and after 20 minutes we still didn’t have a reply,” he added.

The result has also left a bitter taste in the mouths of Chiefs supporters.
