SuperSport United coach, Gavin Hunt, has confirmed the unavailability of yet another Mamelodi Sundowns loanee ahead of Wednesday night’s Tshwane Derby.

SuperSport and Sundowns will renew their rivalry on in the Betway Premiership at Lucas Moripe Stadium this week with kick-off at 7:30 PM.

Speaking to the media at SuperSport’s training base, Hunt revealed that Lebohang Maboe will not feature against his parent club.

This was surprising for the 60-year-old coach as he expressed his disappointment that Maboe would not play.

“I work on the green grass; he just come in; it’s disappointing because I think he’s going to add huge value to us,” said Gavin Hunt. “We’ve been at this, we’ve done that, I don’t know anything about it. I’ve been told he can’t play, that is a big blow to us.”

He added: “With his quality, coming in, we just saw on Saturday when he played, it’s the quality that he can give us in different dimensions to our team. It’s disappointing.”
