Springbok launches swimwear line
Springbok player, Faf de Klerk, has launched his own swimwear line cheekily named ‘Faffies’.
De Klerk endeared himself to South Africans in 2019 when he was spotted wearing briefs with the colours of the national flag during the celebrations of Boks’ World Cup triumph.
While the official website is yet to launch, social media posts have shown four designs, which include that of the South African flag.
The slogan “size doesn’t matter” also alludes that the brand will cater for all sizes.
The SA flag briefs made a famous comeback last year when South Africa historically won the 2023 Rugby World Cup, making them record four-time champions.
He also wore his signature briefs in a Budget Insurance advertisement.
