The record league champions will have very little time to feel sorry for themselves as they have another tough assignment on Saturday afternoon, where they will face off against defending champions, Orlando Pirates, in the Nedbank Cup final.
The rumble will go down at the Mbombela Stadium in Mpumalanga, in a repeat of the MTN8 final, which the Buccaneers won on penalties.
Mokwena was quizzed about the Bafana Bafana defender’s error after the match.
βHe knows that I love him like I love all my players. We all make mistakes and I make more mistakes than anyone else and itβs part of football you know,β said the mentor.
βMy perspective is completely different from a lot of peopleβs perspective. When people see mistakes, I see 29 games of incredible effort and that is the perspective I choose. He will definitely see it the same way I see it because he will get the emotions from me.”
