Bafana Bafana sell tickets for just R20

Tickets to Bafana Bafana’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against FIFA World Cup semi-finalists Morocco at the FNB Stadium on the 17th of this month are selling for just R20 at TicketPro.

This comes as the national football has struggled to fill stadiums in recent times.

The early bird tickets are available at R20 until Wednesday, the 7th of June.

Thereafter they will sell for R50 for adults and R20 for children under the age of 13.

Both South Africa and Morocco have already qualified for the continental showpiece to be hosted in the Ivory Coast from 13 January to February 11 February next year.

Last month, Bafana head coach Hugo Broos announced a 34-man preliminary squad for the fixture, which will be cut down to a final selection of 23, which the Belgian coach will announce next week.

When announcing the squad Broos also said that a reduced pre-camp will be held from 31 May 2023 to 7 June and it will be made up of local and a few overseas-based players.
