Cross-examination in the Senzo Meyiwa Murder trial has been rolled over to tomorrow due to the unavailability of an interpreter.

The interpreter could not be present due to what he said were matters beyond his control.

An alternative interpreter could not be secured due to him being at Palm Ridge Magistrates Court.

Meyiwa’s friend, Mthokozisi Thwala, will return to the witness stand tomorrow where defense lawyer, advocate Charles Mnisi, will poke holes in his testimony.

Some of the defence lawyers have pointed out inconsistencies in Thwala’s written statement and oral testimony.
