Rapper Anzo is just getting started…

Anzo (Andile Ngubeni) is a talented rap artist with a passion for performing and writing.

He came into the South African Hip-Hop scene in 2007 as a rapper from the Vaal, where he took part in high school cyphers until he performed at a few shows around the Vaal.

Anzo took part and won the 2015 Back To The City 10K Challenge, a Hip-Hop competition for artists and producers. His debut LP titled ‘Indaba Yam’ dropped in 2015.

2016 saw him return to the Back To The City main stage for a fire performance.

His songs iFalakhe and iDelakufa were in 2019 notably featured on Mzansi Magic’s eHostela and iFalakhe as soundtracks.

He has since mentioned Zuluboy and ProKid being inspirations for his music journey and taste.

Also a talented vocalist and emcee, Anzo’s journey is definitely on the right path!
