Smirnoff launches ‘Onto The Next Beat’ collab EP

Smirnoff is taking it to another level this summer with the launch of the Onto The Next Beat EP, featuring 6 of South Africa’s hitmakers. The Smirnoff Onto The Next Beat EP is a three-track EP that promises to have the streets jumping this festive season. This EP features, Makwa Beats, 25K, Ami Faku, Wichi 1080, Sha Sha and DJ Smokes.

On this EP, Smirnoff paired 3 producers with 3 recording artists from different genres and styles of music to create a hit in just 24 hours. These artists met for the first time in studio and they had to create something totally out of their sonic pocket but still make it hot.

We get a front row seat to see what actually happens in the studio when our favourite artists link up. In episode 1, Ami Faku and Wichi 1080 worked harmoniously to create their Afro Love-Ballad titled “Sondela”, in the following insert, Makwa and 25K link up to make their posse-cut titled “Tru Religion” and the BTS series ends with how Sha Sha and DJ Smokes got to create their hip swaying, Caribbean inspired song “Never Let You Go”.

The 3-track EP will be available for streaming across all digital platforms.
