Rich Mnisi’s high-end fashion range creates fashion waves

Rich Mnisi sure knows how to put the “Rich” in all things couture and luxury items. The 28 year-old high-end fashion designer had social media feeling for their pockets as he dropped his latest mask and winter clothing range.

Remember when Bonang said Rich Mnisi charges “R2 million” for anything and everything by him? Well, the good sis wasn’t too far from the truth with that. Just like most products, everything has a target market and those who wish to get their hands on Rich Mnisi’s latest masks will have to set a side a casual R2000.

Compared to other designer face masks that have been unveiled in South Africa, Mnisi’s are currently the most expensive. A signature MaXhosa Africa mask will set you back R600, while Gert-Johan Coetzee’s range of masks cost between R180 – R380.

If 2k is a little too steep for you, you still can get your hands on the luxurious masks in the collection at the lowest price of R399.

Mnisi said an undisclosed percentage from the proceeds of sales will be donated to charities affected by Covid-19.

Apart from the elegant mask range, Mnisi has also released fashion tees that may just be the staple items you need in your “Stay at home” wardrobe, if the pocket allows of course. The collection includes the popular Rich Mnisi roll necks and the RICH MNISI Pride Tote Bag inspired by the progress pride flag in celebration of Pride Month.
