Nasty C Strings and Bling Exclusive Listening Session

Rapper Nasty C paid #TheBestDrive a visit and served YFM listeners with an exclusive pre-release listening session of his new album, Strings and Bling.

Although running for 6 minutes less, Nasty C’s follow up from his previous album, ‘Bad Hair,’ is one track stronger. Packed with 17-tracks, Strings and Bling, only featured A$AP Ferg, Kaien Cruz and Rowlene. With this album, Nasty C is said to have “reached a different level of maturity with his lyrical content and exploring different sounds in Hip-Hop.”

The album also gives us a look into his childhood, thoughts on love, heartbreak and various other subjects.

Minutes into the listening session, listeners called in and voted “Legendary” as their favourite.

The rapper, who is also aptly known as The Coolest Kid in Africa went on to release his highly anticipated sophomore effort, Strings And Bling two days after the listening session. The album landed at #1 on iTUNES and #2 on Apple Music. #StringsAndBling also trended #1 on Twitter.
