A versatile songstress from Klerksdorp, Ayanda Jiya always had a burning desire for music and singing from the age of six. With a family that supported her talent, she was nurtured in the comfort of her home to become the musician and exceptional songwriter she is today.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Ayanda is influenced by a lot of genres, mostly Gospel, Jazz, Neo Soul and RnB.<\/span><\/h2>\n
She recorded her very first song entitled \u2018Rescue Me\u2019 in 2007, from that moment her love for music and becoming better at her craft began to grow even more.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

In 2013, she worked on her single titled \u2018Happier Alone\u2019 and shot a music video for it as well, this shone the spotlight on her in the industry and among her followers.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
Ayanda released an EP in 2014 entitled \u2018Very Intimate Conversations\u2019 (V.I.C) which was successfully launched at the State Theatre in Pretoria.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Fast forward to 2019, she released her much anticipated debut album\u00a0titled \u2018AYANDASTAND\u2019 on August 8<\/span><\/span>th<\/sup><\/span><\/span>. She teamed up with long-time collaborator\u00a0<\/span><\/span>A-Reece<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u00a0on the album’s first single titled \u2018Falling For You\u2019, which was highly successful. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
Ayanda has since worked with many artists in the country, featuring on\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Lady Zamar<\/span><\/span><\/a>‘s platinum selling album King Zamar. She also appears on\u00a0<\/span><\/span>A-Reece<\/span><\/span><\/a>‘s second studio album\u00a0<\/span><\/span>From Me to You And Only You<\/span><\/span><\/a>,<\/span><\/span> Stogie T<\/span><\/span><\/a>‘s Honey And Pain mixtape, Flame’s CandyMan album,\u00a0Ralf Gum’s Progression album, Ginger Trill’s Gang Tapes EP<\/span><\/span> and Sir LSg’s Moving Circle album<\/span><\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
