The case of alleged crime boss and suspected mastermind behind DJ Sumbody\u2019s murder, Katiso \u201cKT\u201d Molefe<\/a>, has been transferred to the Johannesburg High Court, with the State confirming that all outstanding dockets against him have now been consolidated.<\/p>\n Molefe appeared briefly at the Alexandra Magistrates Court on Wednesday alongside his three co-accused. They face a long list of charges – including murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and possession of unlicensed firearms.<\/p>\n This comes after last month’s postponement when accused number four, Michael Pule Tau, failed to appear. Tau was present on Wednesday, together with co-accused Tiego Floyd Mabusela and Musa Kekana.<\/p>\n Molefe, who was recently granted R400,000 bail, is accused of ordering the 2022 hit on popular DJ and club owner, DJ Sumbody<\/a> \u2014 real name Oupa John Sefoka \u2014 who was gunned down with his two bodyguards.<\/p>\n The 61-year-old Molefe is also allegedly linked to the murder of DJ Vintos in Soweto, with cellphone data reportedly placing him in contact with co-accused shortly after the killings. While Molefe<\/a> remains out on bail, the three men will stay behind bars.<\/p>\n All four are expected to appear in the Johannesburg High Court on 5 February next year, where the consolidated charges will be heard. The State also confirmed Molefe has changed legal representation ahead of the trial.<\/p>\n\t \n\t\t\tKT Molefe case transferred to High Court as accused changes legal team<\/span>\n\t\t\t| By X9 Converter<\/span>\n\t\t<\/p>\n\t<\/li>\n\t\t<\/ul>\n\t<\/div>\t\t\t\n\t\n The indictment lists 35 charges in total \u2014 including 15 counts of murder, among them the killing of DJ Sumbody.<\/p>\n The State says cellphone data places the accused at the scenes before, during and after the murders, while WhatsApp chats and call logs allegedly show coordination of the attacks and discussions about payments Molefe is accused of promising.<\/p>\n Outside the courthouse, security concerns flared when two bodyguards, aged 24 and 36, were arrested for possessing two semi-automatic AKM rifles and ammunition without valid permits.<\/p>\n The pair were reportedly escorting one of the accused.
