Justice Minister, Mmamoloko Kubayi has confirmed that the Ndimande brothers, linked to the murder of rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes, will be extradited from the Kingdom of Eswatini on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

AKA and his chef friend, Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane, were shot and killed on Florida road in Durban in February 2023.<\/p>\n

Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande will join the five other suspects in the Durban High Court on charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition.<\/p>\n

The brothers – originally from KwaZulu-Natal – were arrested while hiding in Eswatini, claiming they fled the country due to taxi-related violence.<\/p>\n

In a turn of events, the brothers abandoned their bid to appeal their extradition.<\/p>\n

Minister’s spokesperson, Terrence Menase, says the Acting Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Eswatini has signed off on the extradition order, paving the way for their return.<\/p>\n

He adds that details of their next court appearance will be confirmed upon their arrival in South Africa.<\/p>\n
