Inquiry will resume on October 13, following today\u2019s unexpected adjournment after Crime Intelligence boss <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yfm.co.za\/devworld\/2025\/09\/29\/the-big-5-crime-intelligence-chief-reveals-cartel-links-to-sas-justice-system\/\">Dumisani Khumalo<\/a>, fell ill.<\/p>\n<p>Khumalo, who has been providing explosive evidence on the alleged infiltration of criminal syndicates into South Africa\u2019s justice system, was scheduled to appear for a third consecutive day.<\/p>\n<p>Commission Chairperson, Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga, said Khumalo arrived at the venue at 9am but was unable to continue, prompting the postponement.<\/p>\n<p>The South African Police Service has confirmed that Khumalo is receiving medical attention.<\/p>\n<p>National Police spokesperson, Athlenda Mathe, reassured the public that he will continue his testimony once he has recuperated<\/p>\n\t<div the Judicial Service Commission.<\/p>\n<p>The commission\u2019s spokesperson, Jeremy Michaels, emphasized that the postponement was strictly due to Khumalo\u2019s health and not related to security or hearing.<\/p>\n<p>During his testimony on Tuesday, he presented a series of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yfm.co.za\/devworld\/2025\/09\/30\/madlanga-commission-whatsapps-detail-matlalas-links-to-mchunu-and-top-cops\/\">WhatsApp messages<\/a> between businessmen Brown Mogotsi and Vusimuzi &#8220;Cat&#8221; Matlala, which allegedly showed Mogotsi pressuring Matlala to fund political memberships in two regions.<\/p>\n<p>The messages reportedly shed light on the alleged criminal
