Limpopo <\/span>rapper <\/span>Lehlohonolo <\/span>Chauke, <\/span>popularly <\/span>known <\/span>as Shebeshxt’s questionable behaviour has come under the spotlight once again.<\/p>\n

A video of him brandishing a knife in what seems to be him attacking someone has been making the rounds on social media.<\/p>\n

Responding to backlash, his lawyers claim the incident\u00a0<\/span>was <\/span>part <\/span>of <\/span>a <\/span>staged <\/span>skit.<\/span><\/p>\n

According <\/span>to <\/span>his <\/span>lawyer, <\/span>the <\/span>clip <\/span>is <\/span>an <\/span>old <\/span>video <\/span>filmed <\/span>with <\/span>a <\/span>producer <\/span>friend <\/span>during <\/span>the <\/span>shooting <\/span>of <\/span>a <\/span>music <\/span>video. <\/span>The <\/span>lawyer <\/span>further <\/span>asserted <\/span>that <\/span>the <\/span>knife <\/span>was <\/span>not <\/span>real <\/span>and <\/span>that <\/span>the <\/span>scene <\/span>was <\/span>scripted <\/span>for <\/span>entertainment <\/span>purposes.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, <\/span>the <\/span>explanation <\/span>has <\/span>not <\/span>gone <\/span>down <\/span>well <\/span>with <\/span>many <\/span>of <\/span>Shebeshxt\u2019s <\/span>supporters, <\/span>some <\/span>of <\/span>whom <\/span>argue <\/span>that <\/span>this <\/span>is <\/span>not <\/span>the <\/span>first <\/span>time <\/span>the <\/span>rapper <\/span>has <\/span>displayed <\/span>problematic <\/span>behaviour.<\/span><\/p>\n

They say the same energy that people had towards Scotts Maphuma should be the same for the rapper.<\/p>\n
