Community\u00a0<\/span>members\u00a0<\/span>in\u00a0<\/span>Fleurhof\u00a0<\/span>say\u00a0<\/span>they\u00a0<\/span>are\u00a0<\/span>living\u00a0<\/span>in\u00a0<\/span>fear\u00a0<\/span>following\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>discovery\u00a0<\/span>of\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>body\u00a0<\/span>of\u00a0<\/span>an\u00a0<\/span>11-<\/span>year-<\/span>old\u00a0<\/span>boy\u00a0<\/span>at\u00a0<\/span>a\u00a0<\/span>residential\u00a0<\/span>complex.<\/span><\/div>\n

Jayden-Lee Meek was allegedly dropped off by his school transport, entered the complex but never made it home.<\/span><\/div>\n

A frantic search for the young led to the gruesome discovery of his badly bruised and naked body, near his home, the next morning.<\/p>\n

Residents\u00a0<\/span>are\u00a0<\/span>concerned\u00a0<\/span>that\u00a0<\/span>Meek’s\u00a0<\/span>killer\u00a0<\/span>may\u00a0<\/span>still\u00a0<\/span>be\u00a0<\/span>living\u00a0<\/span>among\u00a0<\/span>them\u00a0<\/span>and\u00a0<\/span>are\u00a0<\/span>calling\u00a0<\/span>on\u00a0<\/span>police\u00a0<\/span>to\u00a0<\/span>expedite\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>investigation.<\/span><\/div>\n

A group of community members say they will not rest until the person responsible for this gruesome incident is brought to book.<\/div>\n

One resident says it’s painful to see that such a young child can be killed in this manner at a place where he is supposed to feel safe and calls home.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The mothers in the area say they are frustrated and scared for their children.<\/div>\n

    Police spokesperson Mavela Masondo says an inquest docket has been opened.<\/div>\n

    He says the inquest could possibly be changed into a murder case amid investigations.<\/div>\n

    “This\u00a0is a\u00a0case that we take very seriously and we believe if we are given the chance, we will get to the bottom of this.<\/div>\n
