DJ DREAS, a self-made music producer and DJ from Namibia, has been producing house music since high school and has never looked back since.<\/p>\n
DREAS has come from humble origins to join an exclusive few; those blazing a trail bright enough to light a bridge from Africa to the world and has gone ahead to touch the souls of many within and beyond the Namibian borders.<\/p>\n
What started with a mixtape in 2018 has blossomed into the consistent production of unique, eclectic, and soul-stirring tracks.<\/p>\n
Berlin-based independent label, Paradise Sound System has spent the last few months working with their newest, soon-to-be international act and are excited about the future for this authentic young artist.<\/p>\n
In an inspiring story of artistry, DJ DREAS\u2019 first tape was quickly picked up by Red Bull, who invited the young producer to hone his craft at their Cape Town studios. Now seen as one of Namibia\u2019s top DJ\u2019s, DREAS skillfully fuses electronic beats with traditional African cultural and musical elements.<\/p>\n
This dynamic DJ and producer is known for his unique sound and authentic approach and has shared the stage with icons who have quickly become peers such as Da Capo, DJ Zinhle, Prince Kaybee, Busiswa and AKA to name a few.<\/p>\n
Having already received international recognition from reputable commercial music platforms on both sides of the equator, DREAS now has his sights set on the international success of his newest body of work. His \u2018DAYSBEFOREULTRA\u2019 EP is set for release on the 14th of January 2022 and features award-winning Namibian vocalist, Sean K, German based singer\/songwriter Sezou and Cape Town\u2019s, Namakau Star. The project has received promises to be DREAS\u2019 graduation from the African scene to Europe\u2019s ever-ready market.<\/p>\n
