YFM team donates sanitary pads to all-female hospital

In South Africa, we see many women and girls struggle due to lack of essentials such as sanitary pads. This need inspired YFM’s drive time team to embark on a campaign to collect and donate sanitary pads to a local hospital. Enlisting the help of listeners and staff, the DJ’s were able to collect over a hundred packs of sanitary pads.

On Thursday 29 November 2018, DJ Sabby and The Best Drive team, as well as YFM staff and eager listeners made their way from studio to the Rahima Moosa Women and Children Hospital in Coronationville for the hand out. The team was met by the friendly and very excited hospital staff. After learning about all the challenges faced by the hospital, to be able to put a smile on so many appreciative faces was really something special.

The Best Drive team are motivated and inspired to get involved in future campaigns and continue touching the lives of our listeners and community.
